IMAGING Radiograph This X-ray shows the pelvic region of a bird that presented with a retained egg.  The patient was taken to surgery for a "bird C-section."   After the egg was removed, the patient had a full recovery.

Chest X-Ray

This X-ray shows two small metastatic (meaning that the cancer has spread) tumors in the lung on the left side (look between the ribs).

Portogram

This special X-ray shows dye filling only a portion of the liver.  This little dog had a congenital liver defect that did not allow normal blood flow to fill its entire liver.   The dye study allowed the MVH doctors to diagnose and treat the problem.  The puppy is now doing fine and growing normally.
