Greetings to all the wonderful people at MVH!
A few words about Sasha:
Sasha came to our life when she decided to jump into the cockpit of our houseboat some years ago, when she was about four months old. We thought at that time she was just a lost puppy, but she was persistent and kept on returning. She has made her mind up about where she'll spend her life. Eventually we've settled for the fact that there will be another family member. Lucky for us!
Indeed she is a friendly, happy shepherd.
About two years into her life there was an injury to her knee and that was when we met the friendly and concerned crew of MVH for the first time. Dr Mader operated and fixed her problem with very good result and although it was the end of Sasha's athletic mobility she still has happy years traveling with us anywhere we go.
Last month we noticed her loss of appetite and gaunt look. Our regular veterinarian Dr Waddell recommended immediate examination in MVH. We were really impressed by the promptness and caring attitude everybody displayed, namely Dr Gerry and all the staff we've come into contact during this ordeal. It was very comforting to know from our past experience that this is just the level of regard which is actually "normal" for all of you!
What a wonderful feeling it is to know that everybody is sincerely concerned! We are very thankful.
And Sasha? Well she seems to be pulling through and showing considerable improvement ever since her operation and removal of the sizeable tumor on her spleen. We Know that her future is statistically rather uncertain, but we are so grateful for having her with us - again joyful and energetic as if nothing happened.
Thank you all once again, you are in our hearts!
Gladys and Jiri Dolezal - and Sasha, too..
