Lindy graduated from the College of Charleston in Charleston, S.C. with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She attended graduate studies at the Citadel Evening Graduate Program in Charleston and obtained a Master of Education in Clinical counseling. Lindy worked in the field of mental health for 14 years. She moved to Marathon in 1994 and has been working at the Marathon Veterinary Hospital since August 2000.
